Job summary

Digestive Health Center of Bedford seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide attentive post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status. You will administer medications per physician orders and deliver education for discharge and follow-up.

Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow, maintain precise documentation, and support a safe, clean clinical environment. The role emphasizes quality improvement and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BLS/ACLS current.
• Experience in GI, PACU, OR or acute care preferred.
• Demonstrates clinical judgment and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience (GI, PACU, OR, or acute care preferred)

Physical & Work Environment Expectations

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday


• Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist with patient movement (up to 50 pounds)


• Manual dexterity and ability to perform clinical procedures


• Work in procedure rooms with medical equipment and disinfecting agents


• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and body fluids


• Climate‑controlled environment with occasional reduced lighting


• Schedule and hours may vary based on patient and Center needs
