Job summary

AmSurg is hiring a Full-Time Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse for our Plano location. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays in a fast-paced outpatient environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Digestive Health Center of Plano is seeking a Full‑Time Pre‑Op/PACU Registered Nurse to join our team Monday through Friday—no weekends, holidays, or on‑call. This role offers a fast‑paced outpatient setting with a balance of high‑quality patient care and predictable hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, including assessments, education, and care planning.
• Provide attentive post‑anesthesia recovery care and monitor patient status.
• Administer medications and follow physician orders accurately.
• Deliver patient education, including discharge instructions and follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Support a safe, clean, and efficient clinical environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
