Job summary

Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, invites you to join the Outpatient Surgery Center as an RN in a fast-paced perioperative setting. Four operating rooms, preop/intraop/postop care for same-day procedures.

We value nursing excellence in a Magnet-recognized, team-focused environment. Requires OR experience, NH RN license or Compact State, with BCLS and ACLS within specified timelines; CNOR eligibility within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year OR experience.
• Current RN license in NH or Compact State; BSN preferred.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• CNOR certification required within 18 months of hire or when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care for same-day surgical patients.
• Work within a fast-paced perioperative setting across four operating rooms.
• Collaborate with the OSC and OCC teams to ensure safe patient care.

About The Role

The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC), located within the Outpatient Care Center (OCC), includes four operating rooms and an admission/recovery unit. Nurses provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care to patients undergoing same-day surgical procedures in a fast-paced, perioperative setting.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of Operating Room (OR) experience required
• Current RN license in New Hampshire or another Compact State; BSN preferred
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire
• CNOR certification required within 18 months of hire or when eligibility requirements are met
