Connections Wellness Group in Plano, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide primary outpatient care in a psychiatric setting, following licensed nursing standards and facility policies.

You will collaborate with the Site Director & Director of Nursing, perform assessments, educate patients, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality; schedule is 8:30AM–5:30PM.

This role requires TX RN license, CPR, and willingness to undergo Avade training within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license to practice in TX.
• CPR certification; Avade training within 30 days of employment.
• Mental health psychiatric experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support teamwork to meet accrediting and regulatory standards through surveillance and reporting.
• Apply the nursing process in assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Counsel patients and families with health teaching and explanations of procedures.
• Discharge education including medication education upon discharge.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain a safe, respectful patient environment.
