Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Full-time Days role at Moody Outpatient Center (4th Floor). You will coordinate patient care with the health care team, using the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care to ensure smooth transitions with no preventable delays.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, two years of nursing experience, Texas RN license (or Compact) and BLS for Healthcare Providers, plus a Texas

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of nursing experience required.
• Current RN license in Texas (or Compact) and BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive working relationships with Parkland staff and patients.
• Provides patient care and education to patients and family members.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation in patient care records.
• Serves as Charge Nurse on rotation and a preceptor when needed.
• May participate in community outreach activities as assigned.
