Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for 2 North Ortho in Elizabethtown, KY. The role is full-time, 7a–7p, with a $6,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

You will deliver direct patient care from admission to discharge and coordinate with physicians and hospital teams to ensure quality outcomes. Requirements include an ADN, Kentucky RN license, and BLS within 90 days of hire; Crisis Prevention training within 6 months is required.

The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.

• Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
• Follows the professional standards of care.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients.
• Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital.

Requirements:

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Recent experience in specialty preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
