Trinity Health Oakland Hospital seeks an experienced OR nurse to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment for staff and patients. You will ensure adherence to policies and expertly plan the daily OR schedule in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Required is a Michigan nursing license and BSN preferred with BLS, plus 6 months to 1 year of OR experience. This full-time role supports diverse surgical services and patient care excellence.

Description: Trinity Health Oakland is Level 2 Trauma Center, with 15 operating rooms that average 35 cases/day.

We care for both inpatients and outpatients for the following types of elective/urgent/emergent service lines: Acute Care Surgery, Colorectal, General Surgery, Cardio-Thoracic, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, Neurosurgery, Urology, Gynecology, Oncology, and Vascular; as well as off-shift Endoscopy.
Our nursing staff is supported 24/7 by department-based Anesthesiologists.
We have the distinction of being a Certified Joint Center of Excellence as well as a Robotic Center of Excellence.
Responsible for a safe, efficient Operating Room environment for hospital employees, medical staff, and patients. Ensures compliance with administration policies and procedures as well as OR schedule planning. Executes efficient daily Operating Room schedule administration.
