Job summary

Ascension Health in Milwaukee, WI (or Brookfield, WI) is seeking an experienced OR RN Circulator to join our surgical services team. You'll support scrub and circulating roles across multiple shifts, working a 40-hour week.

This role involves instrument handling, patient monitoring, and assisting the operating physician during procedures. Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing with RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certification within specified timelines.

Department: Ascension Premier Staffing - Surgical Services OR RN Circulator

Schedule: Multiple shifts available | 40 hours per week

Gross Rate up to $3,111 per week

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.

• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.

• Directly assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.

• Prepares operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• Certified Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• One or more of the following:

• Certified Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Certified BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
