IU Health in Bloomington is hiring experienced nurses for Surgical Services. Positions are available as part-time or full-time, with a $30,000 sign-on bonus through 9/30/2026 and referral eligibility. The role requires ASN, or BSN preferred, and an active RN license in Indiana (or NLC).
BLS and possibly other ALS may be required by unit. Workdays include a 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM shift; continuous patient care and collaboration with a skilled medical team in a 14 OR and 2 open-heart room setting.
Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible.
Shift: This role will work a 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM shift. There is minimal on-call, however, team members must be able to respond to on-call notice and be at the Bloomington facility within 30-minutes.

This Surgical Services unit functions within Bloomington Hospital, where we have 14 operating rooms and 2 open heart room. Our Surgical Services team members perform a variety of services, including cardiovascular, gynecological, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and DaVinci procedures.
Nurses new to the OR will be given the opportunity to learn to scrub, which is a great benefit for those that desire to expand their career within the OR.
