Job description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room RN to contribute expertise to a busy surgical environment. This role is based in a state-of-the-art facility with 16 operating suites, equipped with the latest advancements in surgical technology. The position is for a contract assignment, working 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with both night and weekend call required.

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Rotating night and weekend call

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required
• In-depth experience with transplant surgeries
• Strong preference for candidates who possess certification and have at least three years of recent operating room experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR is valuable
• Ability to manage a wide variety of procedures, such as: total joints, spine, transplants (kidney/liver), robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastics

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub on diverse surgical cases in a busy OR setting
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and effective procedure flow
• Respond efficiently during high-acuity and transplant cases
• Document patient information electronically according to hospital guidelines
• Adhere to strict sterile techniques and infection control policies
