Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator at Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Plano Alliance:

• The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for nursing activities related to the care of patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Our scope includes Colon and Rectal Surgery, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy, General Surgery, GI, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pain Management, Urology, and Plastic Surgery.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

License:

• Current Texas RN License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications

Required Experience:

• Minimum two years of OR experience
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and staff
• Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing
