Job Description

Staff Nurses are responsible for:

1. Performing patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
2. Practicing safe medication administration and assessing patient responses to medication.
3. Participating in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
4. Providing professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period.
5. Completing all required documentation.

Qualifications for this position include:

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required).
2. BSN or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire (strongly preferred).
3. State Issued RN license.
4. Previous experience as an RN in an acute care setting (strongly preferred).
5. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
