The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Guides patient and family teaching, supervises other nursing personnel, and maintains standards of care in the ICU. Communicates with physicians about changes in clinical condition, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic results, and abnormal findings. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
