REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years

Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes

Skills: Circulate, Neuro, Robotics, General, GYN, and Urology.

Certs: BCLS

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Scrub, *Vascular, EENT and Trauma experience

JOB DETAILS:

Ratios: 1:1

Shift: 3X12 HR NIGHTS No OT billed until after 40 hours. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!

Call Requirement: 1-2 12hr shifts every 2 weeks

Float Requirement: Support for inpatient units as needed

Weekend Requirement: weekends as needed

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Varies

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: New Hanover Regional Health System provides surgical services that support multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent surgical procedures. Procedures include Cardiothoracic, General, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, EENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, OMF, Trauma, Dental, Pediatric, Neonatal, Endoscopy and, Organ harvesting

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS and EPIC

SCHEDULING TYPE: self scheduling but the manager determines the final schedule.

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours

SCRUBS: provided by unit
