Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star is hiring a Registered Nurse Operating Room to support high-quality orthopedic and sports medicine procedures in Frisco, TX. The Circulator RN will position, prep, and circulate during cases in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, orthopedic experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS as required; minimum 1 year circulator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state.
• Strong orthopedic experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Circulator.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and services during surgery cases.
• Position and prep the patient for surgery.
• Circulate the case during surgery.
• Work across Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Total Joints and Spine procedures.

Registered Nurse Operating Room at Baylor Scott & White Sports Surgery Center at The Star:

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Total Joints and Spine procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing.
• Active RN license in the state
• Strong Orthopedic experience required
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
