Requirements include RN with Associate’s Degree (BSN/MSN preferred), active RN license, BLS within 90 days, and Epic experience preferred.

Virtual RNs can support the team at the bedside to alleviate the workload and provide greater satisfaction for both the patients and the nursing staff. They handle administrative tasks that take significant time but don’t require hands-on care. This improves workflow while ensuring patients are fully informed about the care they have received.Virtual nurses are not a replacement for bedside nurses, instead they serve as an additional member of the hospital care team. Bedside nurses and virtual nurses work together to ensure that patients continue to receive the safest and highest quality of care.
