Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Oncology Clinic to provide comprehensive care to cancer patients, including assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans. You will administer chemotherapy and treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires a BSN or equivalent (preferred), 2+ years oncology experience, a current Compact RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with the ability to thrive

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years in oncology or related clinical setting.
• Valid and current Compact RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and treatments per protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, symptom management, and post-treatment care.
• Monitor patient responses and promptly address adverse reactions or complications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and treatment progress.
• Adhere to regulatory and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Shift & Schedule:

• Day shift with 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week.
