Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Oncology team. This RN will manage patient care episodes in collaboration with patients, families, and other care providers, ensuring safe, quality care.

Direct care or coordination with Nursing Assistants may occur. The role features a 0.7 FTE schedule with rotating day and night, 8-hour shifts, and every other weekend, and offers a comprehensive benefits package with medical and dental insurance, retirement options, tuition

Qualifications

• Must hold a Minnesota RN license.
• BLS provider status per AHA guidelines.
• BSN preferred and generally expected to be obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Coordinate and supervise care delegated to Nursing Assistants and unlicensed personnel as needed.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule:

0.7 FTE, Rotating Day/Night 8-hour shifts with every other weekend

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing. BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License


• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients
