Description
Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our busy Ohio Center for Pediatrics office in Dublin, OH! As a RN for COPC, you are joining a team that strives to be the best for Primary Care. You will be leading the nation with a system that supports the entire care of each COPC patient. This position is responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient delivery of primary health care and creating a positive patient experience. This position is 4 days per week, with a rotating day off during the week.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Perform assessment and evaluation of patients and work collaboratively with the clinical team to develop a plan of care.
- Administer medications, injections, treatments, and perform routine medical procedures.
- Provide medical triage via telephone for patients.
- Provide health counseling and education to patients and/or their families.
- Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver the best care for our patients.
- Foster direct communication between the clinical team, patients/caregivers, and appropriate care providers to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with other team members to address gaps in care (chart prep) and promote improved clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Act as a patient advocate to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.
- Review physician orders and lab requests and follow up as needed. Call in prescriptions/order refills as approved and directed.
- Measure vital signs, record vital signs and other health-related issues on patients’ charts.
- Communicate test results to patients as directed and record notes in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Assist in patient education with related educational tools, periodicals, flyers, and handouts.
- Assist with Department of Transportation, FMLA, and Medical Disability application forms.
- Respond to patient phone calls, as appropriate.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA regulations.
- Attend meetings and participate in classroom activities as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

A. Education, Licensures & Certifications
Preferred: LPN, RN, MA
