Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate evidence‑based nursing care across the care continuum. The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, teaching and mentoring, and adherence to ANA standards and the nursing Code of Ethics.

The ideal candidate will hold an ASN with a BSN preferred, an active Indiana RN license (or NLC), and a nationally accredited nursing program diploma.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Candidates with >2 years acute care experience may be considered with review and CNO approval.
• BLS certification required; additional life support certifications may be required by unit.

• Participate in decision‑making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two (2) years of acute care experience; such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Additional advanced life support certifications may be required based on unit or department specialty
