Job summary

Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time days to provide nursing care under the direction of the Practice Manager and Physicians. You will conduct phone triage, manage test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education, while documenting in Epic and responding to patient messages.

Licensed in IL, NLN-accredited program graduate (BSN preferred), BLS/CPR certified, with at least 1 year of office or hospital experience; benefits

• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under supervision of Practice Manager and Physicians.
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, and patient education.
• Review NorthShore Connect messages from patients.
• Chart in Epic EMR.

Hourly Pay Range

$35.15 - $54.48 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Registered Nurse
• Location: Highland Park, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday through Friday 8am - 5pm, Saturday between 8am - 12pm
• Required Travel: Travel based upon department needs

What you will do:

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
• Phone triage, test results, medication refills, prior authorizations, conveying plans of care patient education/teaching
• Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
• Chart in Epic, our electronic medical record

What you will need:

• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required
• Experience: 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required
