Job summary

TriHealth Good Samaritan Hospital is seeking a Part Time Night Shift RN for the OB Float Pool in Cincinnati. You will rotate across Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, High-Risk Perinatal, and NICU units based on census and staffing needs, delivering safe, compassionate care.

Applicants must hold an Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma, be a licensed RN, and commit to BSN within five years. BLS/CPR certification is required, and prior perinatal unit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• New hires must obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Experience in one of the GSH Perinatal Units is required.
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers.
• Registered Nurse in good standing.

Location:

375 Dixmyth Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45220

Work Schedule:

• Part Time - (48 hours bi-weekly)
• 7pm - 7:30am
• 3rd Weekend rotation
• 3rd Holiday rotation

Job Overview:

The OB Float Pool at Good Samaritan Hospital offers RNs a highly flexible and fast‑paced environment where they rotate between obstetric units based on patient census and staffing needs. These units may include Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, High-Risk Perinatal, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), each with its own workflow, acuity, and care priorities. This flexibility is supported by the hospital’s float‑pool structure, which includes variable shift lengths, weekend options, and a rotation cycle that allows nurses to tailor schedules while maintaining competency across multiple areas.
