Job summary

Prisma Health in Easley, SC seeks a Chief Administrative Officer to step in during the absence of Hospital Administrative Staff. You will interface with all departments to solve problems and maintain operations.

Key duties include coaching Charge Nurses and staff RNs, stabilizing staffing, resolving patient and physician concerns, and disaster leadership. Collaborate with Risk Management, Public Relations, Plant Operations and Nursing Administration.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• Experience: Three (3) years of Nursing experience; five (5) years preferred.
• Licensure: RN license recognized by the state or multi-state compact.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors Charge Nurses and staff RNs to proactively solve problems.
• Manages staffing stability with the Resource Staffing Department.
• Resolves patient/family and physician complaints; directs incident documentation to appropriate leaders.
• Acts as Planning Chief and temporary Incident Commander during disasters.
• Collaborates with Security, Plant Operations, Risk Management, Public Relations and Nursing Management on policies, safety, and legal issues.
