Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternal Fetal Medicine outpatient department to deliver high‑quality care, coordinate patient flow, and support an interdisciplinary team across two Hackensack sites. NJ RN license is required; BSN in progress or completion within three years is preferred.

AHA BLS/CPR is required, with certification within 60 days of hire; National Certification in specialty is preferred when eligible.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care for maternal fetal medicine outpatients in a high‑risk pregnancy setting and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Oversee and delegate care to other caregivers; coordinate patient care and unit activities across nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Support two Hackensack locations with a schedule that avoids weekends and holidays.

The Registered Nurse Non-Acute functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills, provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.

This RN position for Maternal Fetal Medicine (hospital outpatient department, high-risk pregnancies, ultrasounds, procedures) is a team of 6 perinatologists and 26 team members. The schedule is Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (No weekends or holidays) rotating between two Hackensack locations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. (Note this applies to team members hired on or after November 2019).
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
