MEDIKO Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in the Shasta County Jail, Redding, CA.

The role involves direct patient care, assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response in a correctional setting. The RN will collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans, ensure infection control, educate patients, and monitor progress while adhering to facility policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current valid state nursing licensure.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in healthcare/nursing preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of healthcare experience, preferably in a correctional setting.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations in correctional settings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment.

Responsibilities

Title: Registered NurseLocation: Shasta County Jail- Redding, CAStatus: Full Time overnights. 12 hour shifts.Salary: $54-$64 Placement on scale is determined by the candidate's level of job-related experience.Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response. This role will collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards.
