Job summary

MEDIKO Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response.

The RN will collaborate with healthcare teams, develop care plans, and ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control, and state regulations. Responsibilities include patient education, progress monitoring, and contributing to a safe healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• A current, valid state RN licensure.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or related field preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in correctional care.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and policies relevant to correctional settings.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatments.
• Respond to emergencies and support clinical teams.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients on health conditions and monitor progress.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols.

Title: Registered NurseLocation: South Correctional Entity-SCOREStatus: Full Time Day ShiftSalary: $54-$64 Placement on scale is determined by the candidate's level of job-related experience.Job Summary:The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, including assessments, medication administration, treatments, and emergency response.
