Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, 36-hour weekly schedule. Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required (AA or BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in SC or compact state.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment ensuring patient privacy and professional behavior.
• Demonstrate professional practice through shared governance, adherence to standards, and ongoing development.
• Coordinate effective delivery of patient care using care management principles to identify priorities and improve outcomes.
• Promote a healthy work environment and accountability within the team.
