Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on a 36-hour work week schedule from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every other weekend.

The role involves leading colleagues, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process. Qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, an SC or compact state RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN license in SC or within a compact state.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and promote professional accountability and continuous improvement.
