The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse for evening shift coverage in Florence, SC. This employee role offers a sign-on bonus for full-time employment, excellent health benefits, and up to six weeks of paid parental leave.

Expect 36 hours per week, 7pm–7am, with every other weekend and no on-call requirements. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's Degree and at least one year of RN experience, SC or compact-state RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Formación

• Associate's Degree, and a minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse.,
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS or Red Cross BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental needs.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment and professional behavior.
• Participates in a professional practice model and shared governance to promote leadership and clinical excellence.
• Coordinates delivery of patient care through care management principles to improve outcomes.
