Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care. You will lead within the Nursing Practice Model and participate in quality improvement efforts.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s in nursing, an RN license, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts. Some roles may require driving a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Computer skills with EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Demonstrated leadership and critical thinking abilities.
• Current RN license; state requirements met, BLS competency.

• Support professional practice across settings and the care continuum.
• Provide leadership through preceptor and quality improvement activities.
