Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate nursing care, provide direct patient care, and educate patients and families. The RN will support the Nursing Practice Model, display leadership through preceptorship and quality improvement, and adapt to flexible hours including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Current RN license and BLS certification are required; documentation for BSN completion within five years may be requested.

Qualifications

• Student or Graduate of a nursing program.
• RN start date guidelines require BSN documentation within five years from start date.
• RN start date before 2020 must show BSN completion per policy at hire time.
• One year of RN experience in applicable setting or LPN experience at Mayo Clinic preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); team environment experience.
• Computer skills; prior EMR experience preferred.
• Current RN license by state requirements and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care.

• Lead in quality improvement and mentoring roles.
• Delegate patient care based on skill and resources.
• May be required to drive personal vehicle for duties.
