You will assess patients, document outcomes, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. The role requires an Illinois RN license and CPR certification, with CPI certification expected within 90 days of hire.

Formación

• Nursing degree and Illinois RN license.
• CPR certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred psychiatric experience, knowledge of abnormal psychology, and therapeutic systems management.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, document care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Welcome patients and promote a safe, therapeutic environment by supervising staff and ensuring rounds and records are completed in real time.
• Collaborate with departments to facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, providing thorough handoff communication.
• Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to gather data on physical, psychosocial, and discharge needs, contributing to interdisciplinary planning.
• Support departmental goals, participate in quality improvement, and assist in staff selection and training.
• Attend training sessions, serve as a resource for staff and students, and participate in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
• Supervise direct patient care as needed, working within budget constraints.
