Malvern Behavioral Health is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to work 7:00pm - 7:30am on our inpatient psychiatric, young adult unit. The position is full-time, working 12-hour shifts, three nights per week, with every other weekend commitment. This position offers full-time benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and Paid Time Off.
Malvern Behavioral Health focuses on key stressors impacting young adults, providing individualized treatment, and working with each person to develop support, skills, and education to thrive in everyday life. Key stressors include social media, screen time, gaming, transition difficulties, and substance abuse. Our trauma-informed and recovery-focused staff provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment.
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team, manages and assesses patients, ensures environmental safety, and crisis management. Responsibilities include implementing behavior management programs, making patient and task assignments, providing training and education, documenting care, and working with the treatment team to maintain a therapeutic milieu. The nurse also collaborates with referral sources, reviews clinical information with physicians, and assists with insurance pre-certifications when needed.

Applicants must be Registered Nurses licensed in Pennsylvania. Experience in addiction treatment is preferred. Current CPR certification is required. Knowledge of Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Programs and accreditation standards is a plus. Previous nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
