Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit required.
  • Preferred 2+ years in an Acute Care NICU.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver professional nursing care to all patients in NICU.
  • Perform assessments and acuity assignments.
  • Supervise other nursing personnel and/or students.
  • Function as a preceptor and charge nurse when needed.

Overview

Medical City Arlington – Registered Nurse - NICU. Shift - PRN.

The NICU Registered Nurse delivers professional nursing care to all patients in NICU. You will perform assessment and acuity assignment; follows standard of care utilizing Nursing Process in delivery of care; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions. Daily assignment of an RN may include supervision of other nursing personnel and/or students. Function as a preceptor and ability to function as a charge nurse. The employee performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition of patient.

Qualifications
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
  • 1+ year in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Required
  • 2+ Year’s in an Acute Care NICU preferred
