Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the NICU, adhering to state statutes and hospital policies. You will assess patients, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and delegate tasks within a collaborative team.

Required are an Associate's degree or BSN, an active Illinois RN license, and current CPR certification. Night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays are offered along with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois is required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in accordance with Illinois laws and hospital policies.
• Assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress and document observations.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks and function as a team member to meet unit goals.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Sign On Bonus: $25,000 for candidates with at least 18 months of experience within NICU clinical specialty (with parameters)

Nights 7 pm - 7:30 am rotating weekends & rotating holidays

What you will do

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. What you will need

Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
