Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Providing care to critically ill medical and surgical neonates and infants with various conditions including (but not limited to) complications of prematurity, respiratory distress, pulmonary hypertension, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, long gap esophageal atresia, tracheoesophageal fistula, gastroschisis, omphalocele, necrotizing enterocolitis, congenital heart disease, and other congenital anomalies.
• Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that provides expert neonatal care.
• Rotating days/nights and every third weekend.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of acute care pediatric, ICU, or ED RN experience required (NICU or PICU experience strongly preferred).
• A BSN degree.

This is a 36 hrs/week opportunity in our 30-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); shifts are 12 hours with a 50/50 Day/Night rotation and every third weekend.
