We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse (Part Time-Nights)

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized, family-centered nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a high-acuity neonatal environment. The RN utilizes clinical expertise, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for neonatal patients while collaborating closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Operate and monitor advanced neonatal equipment including ventilators, CPAP, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and incubators.
  • Assist with neonatal procedures such as intubation, central line placement, umbilical line management, and resuscitation efforts.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Educate and support parents and family members regarding neonatal conditions, treatments, discharge planning, and infant care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
