Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids NICU is a 15-bed level III unit providing care for infants across gestational ages with respiratory, nutritional, and complex medical needs. The role is a full-time night-shift position, three 12-hour shifts weekly from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with holiday and weekend requirements.

Michigan RN license required and ongoing orientation for certifications. We seek dedicated nurses who collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and are committed to evidence-based practice

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan.
• 2–3 years of recent acute care experience in areas of specialty.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
• Specialty credentials (ACLS, NRP) required.
• NRP Certification or orientation provided if not current.
• ST.A.B.L.E. certification required within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Full-time night shift; three 12-hour shifts per week (7p–7:30a).
• Care for NICU patients including advanced respiratory therapies and nutrition.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage complex cases.

What You Will Need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• 2- 3 years of recent (within 6 months) acute care experience in areas of specialty.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• Specialty credentials required according to clinical nursing practice specialty (ACLS, NRP)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - education will be provided during orientation if no current certification
• S.T.A.B.L.E certification required within 2 years of hire
