Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids NICU is a 15-bed, level III unit that cares for newborns of all gestational ages, including those requiring advanced respiratory therapies, nutrition support, and complex medical management. This full-time night-shift RN position requires three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with holiday and weekend commitments.

Applicants must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold an Michigan RN license, ADN with BSN preferred, and possess required

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program.
• Associate’s degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Licensed in the State of Michigan; ADN must enroll in BSN within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association.
• Specialty credentials required according to clinical nursing practice (ACLS, NRP).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - orientation provided if not current; STABLE certification within 2 years of hire.

Description:

Trinity Health Grand Rapids NICU is a 15 bed, level III facility. The unit manages infants born at all gestational ages, including those requiring advanced respiratory therapies, nutritional support, and complex medical management.

What you will work:

• Full-time position

• Three 12-hour shifts per week.

• 7p-7:30a

• Includes holiday and weekend requirement

What you will need:

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program

• Associate’s degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.

• I n Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire

• Licensed in the State of Michigan

• 2- 3 years of recent (within 6 months) acute care experience in areas of specialty.

• BLS Certification from American Heart Association

• Specialty credentials required according to clinical nursing practice specialty (ACLS, NRP)

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - education will be provided during orientation if no current certification

• S.T.A.B.L.E certification required within 2 years of hire
