Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Rapids NICU is seeking a skilled neonatal nurse to join our 15-bed, level III unit. You will care for infants across gestational ages, including those needing advanced respiratory support, nutrition, and complex medical management.

Requirements include ADN with Michigan RN licensure (BSN preferred), BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certification within 2 years of hire. Night-shift schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week with holiday and weekend commitments.

Qualifications

• RN license in the State of Michigan.
• 2–3 years of recent acute care experience in specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for neonates in a level III NICU.
• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.).
• Fulfill holiday and weekend requirements.

What you will need

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
• Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
• In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
• Licensed in the State of Michigan
• 2- 3 years of recent (within 6 months) acute care experience in areas of specialty.
• BLS Certification from American Heart Association
• Specialty credentials required according to clinical nursing practice specialty (ACLS, NRP)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - education will be provided during orientation if no current certification
• S.T.A.B.L.E certification required within 2 years of hire
