Registered Nurse NEW GRAD General Post Surgical

7 Surgical is a 26 bed General Surgical/Medical floor that cares for general surgery patients, as well as overflow from our sister 2 Surgical floor. Common Diagnoses Include Fractures, Total Joint Replacement, Lumbar/Cervical Spine Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and General Surgery.

Position Requirements

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:

Education Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program

License & Certification Requirements

An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

BSN preferred

Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
