Job summary

Parkland Health is opening a brand-new 56-bed Medical/Surgical Unit in October 2026 and seeks a compassionate RN to drive high-quality patient care. Relocation assistance is available, and you will join a team focused on diversity, collaboration, and professional growth.

As part of a dynamic nursing team, you will provide patient-centered care across medical, surgical, and palliative populations, while supported by leadership dedicated to your development and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate from accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license by the Texas Board of Nursing.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on a 56-bed Medical/Surgical unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and therapists to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Mentor and support other staff to maintain high-quality care.
