Registered Nurse: Neurology/Neurosurgery Opportunities (UPMC Presbyterian)

Position Overview

This position is eligible for a generous sign-on bonus:

  • $15,000 for graduate nurses with less than one year of RN experience
  • $20,000 for nurses with over one year of experience

About UPMC Presbyterian Neuroscience

Our Neuroscience service line offers personalized care for neurological disorders and is a leader in research and training. We provide expert care for conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and movement disorders.

What to Expect

As a Professional Staff Nurse, you will provide competent patient care, demonstrate empathy, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to achieve optimal outcomes. You will set standards for nursing care and uphold a commitment to the community and the profession.

The minimum pay rate for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $34.25/hour. Shifts are rotating 12-hour schedules.

Qualifications
  • No experience required; BSN preferred
  • Ability to care for patients of varying ages, with understanding of growth and development principles
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Licensure & Certifications
  • Current Pennsylvania RN license
  • CPR certification (AHA)
  • ACLS within 12 months
  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
