Ascension through Via Christi St Francis in Wichita, KS is seeking an experienced RN for the Neuro Trauma ICU to join a nights-full-time schedule. You’ll lead patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and translate physician orders into bedside actions while maintaining clinical standards.

• Orchestrate the multidisciplinary team as the primary care coordinator, ensuring seamless communication between specialties for a unified approach to healing.
• Champion patient advocacy by accurately translating physician orders into bedside action while maintaining the highest standards of clinical protocol.
• Navigate the transition to home by proactively assessing and coordinating discharge needs, ensuring patients and families feel confident and supported beyond our walls.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
