Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Med/Surg Tele FLOAT POOL RN for our Main Campus Hospital in Ohio to support coverage during winter. The nurse will float to units J1-2, J33 and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population.

Position offers 18-week winter coverage, with 13 weeks accepted; rotating shifts may be required, including 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm. Commitment to safe patient care and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
• Recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience required; travel experience acceptable.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current BLS/ACLS/NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients on Main Campus.
• Float to J1-2, J33 and Emergency Department as needed.
• Rotate shifts to meet staffing needs; 7pm-7:30am or 7am-7:30pm.

Shift

MS/Tele FLOAT POOLD/N rotating shifts: 7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pmShifts may vary to meet operational needs. Efforts will be made to honor preferred shifts, but rotation may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applied for (preferably within one location, but combined experience is acceptable).
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• Must hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current AHA or equivalent BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Additional Information

• Travellers must work at least every other holiday.
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation; passing scores are required.
