Job summary

Trusted Health is seeking a travel ICU nurse for the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The role entails night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), floating to multiple ICU units based on staffing and patient acuity, and a 17-week assignment with three shifts per week.

Candidates must have 12 months ICU experience (with 3 months in the last 12 months), critical care float pool experience preferred, and Ohio or compact licensure upon submission.

Job description

Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

Required Credentials:

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Unit Details:

Adult patient population, including kidney, liver, lung, and heart transplant patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

Will float to different units within the OSU organization as needed, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU/MICU/NCCU, based on staffing and patient acuity. Floating is limited to units of equivalent or lower acuity.
