Job summary

SoftPath Medical is seeking a Travel Nurse for winter coverage in Ohio. The role offers 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12-hour shifts with night options. Requires active Ohio or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and telemetry experience. Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate testing.

Position is a temporary travel assignment with 20 weeks winter coverage or 13 weeks currently open. References from leadership are required and hours are tracked via Qualivis-Lotus.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months of recent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
• Must have 18 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience before the travel assignment.
• Possession of a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license at submission.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification before the start date.
• One recent reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for.

Responsibilities

• Complete orientation ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment; passing scores required.
• Record work hours using the Qualivis - Lotus system.
• Provide travel nursing coverage for winter period per assignment needs.

Travel Nurse Position – Winter Coverage

Available durations: 20 weeks for winter coverage or 13 weeks currently open.All start dates, return-to-office (RTO) schedules, and shift details must be accurate and confirmed at submission. These details cannot be modified after an offer is made.All listed requirements and submission criteria are mandatory and non-negotiable.

Shift Information

Auto offer options include 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12-hour shifts.Night shift schedule consists of 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours long, from 7:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• At least 18 months of recent experience in Medical/Surgical Telemetry.
• Must have 18 months of permanent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience before the travel assignment.
• Possession of a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license at submission.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification before the start date.
• One recent reference required from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applied for. Charge RN references are acceptable.

Orientation and Assessment

During orientation, candidates will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a SafeMedicate assessment. Passing scores on both are required.
