MS/Tele RN Position

Position Overview

This role involves working 48-hour shifts as needed.
The RN will be part of a Resource Pool, assigned primarily to one campus but may be required to float to the main campus.
Advance notice will be provided regarding the assigned work location.

Shift and Scheduling

One of the following scheduling options is required:

• Two on-call shifts OR two additional shifts every six weeks
• Weekend shifts will be scheduled as necessary
• On‑call duties include holiday coverage
• Block scheduling is not available.

Start Date and Patient Ratio

Start Date: Immediate availability preferred
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients

Experience and Certifications

Preferred minimum of two years of experience; candidates with one year will also be considered.
New graduate RNs are welcome to apply.
Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIH.

Floating and Location Requirements

The RN may be required to float within their scope of practice to meet facility needs.
Floating may occur between units on the assigned campus and to an additional campus.
Candidates residing within a 75-mile radius are not eligible.
Pending licenses are acceptable but must be finalized prior to starting.

Additional Conditions

All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application; requests submitted later will not be considered.
Guaranteed hours correspond to the signed contract.
Passing arrhythmia and medication tests on the first day is mandatory.
Fit testing may require shaving; refusal to comply will result in failure of fit testing.
An attendance policy is enforced: missing more than two shifts without valid reason during a 13-week contract may lead to contract review and possible termination.
