Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care for patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit, ensuring high standards of nursing practice and patient management. The role requires extensive Med/Surg Telemetry experience and proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status through vital signs and telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Document patient care in the charting system accurately and promptly.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
