Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA, is hiring Registered Nurses for the Mother and Baby Unit for Full-TimeNight shifts. The RN will apply nursing process across assessment to evaluation, ensuring high-quality care for mothers and newborns.

New grads are welcome; base pay ranges and sign-on bonuses are outlined in the offer. Starting pay for new grads is $36.00/hour with up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified hires.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in Virginia or Compact Multi-State license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Education as RN-Associate’s/Bachelor’s/Diploma/Master’s in nursing.

Two positions for Full-Time, Nights The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty.
